Our approach to AI
Where Prompt the Market uses AI tools, where it does not, and how the output is checked.
Prompt the Market covers artificial intelligence and uses it. Readers are entitled to know exactly how.
Where AI is used
- Research. AI-assisted search gathers and summarises source material, which is then checked against the sources themselves.
- Drafting. Articles are drafted with AI assistance from a brief that sets the angle, the sources and the questions to answer.
- Checking. Automated checks test every draft for unsupported claims, missing attribution, banned vocabulary, headline rules and structural patterns before it can be published. A draft that fails is rewritten and checked again, and one that fails twice is not published.
- Illustration. Every cover illustration is generated with AI to a fixed house brief, then checked for any text, logo or identifiable face before use. Each carries the caption "Illustration: Prompt the Market".
Where AI is not used
- Quotes are never generated. Every quote comes from a named, on-the-record source.
- Figures are never estimated by a model. They come from the cited source.
- Illustrations never depict real, identifiable people.
- AI does not decide what we cover or what we say about any company.
Responsibility
The editor is responsible for everything published under the Prompt the Market name, regardless of how it was drafted. Errors are corrected under our corrections policy and recorded in the corrections log.
Our own interests
Prompt the Market is owned by Bushnote, which advises companies on how they appear in AI search and answer engines. We report on that industry, including companies Bushnote works with and competes against. Where that applies to a story, the story says so.
